Cuomo campaign event turns into a Hillary ’16 rally

During a campaign event for the re-election of Governor Cuomo Hilary Clinton made an appearance to show her support for Cuomo. Now Hilary Clinton is a big name known throughout the whole of the United States. She was the First Lady, Secretary of State, and held great positions in the U.S. government. This is a great success for Cuomo because he is attracting the vote of feminist in America. This will help him prevail again in the next election over a strongly debated issue of "women's equality. Cuomo has a great chance in earning many women votes this election.

  1. I think this article portrayed both Hillary Clinton and Andrew Cuomo negatively. According to them. Clinton is chronically late and Cuomo's event turned into a "Hillary 2016" rally. How a few people chanting "2016" means that Cuomo started a pro-Hillary rally is beyond me, but the New York Post is a very conservative paper and its bias is showing. The fact that we are already reading articles about an election that is two years away instead of focusing on the current cycle exposes the problems with our election system. The presidential election has become so bloated and takes up so much time and money that lesser but equally important elections are overshadowed.

  2. I agree with Rebecca. According to this article, "Chants of “2016! 2016!” reverberated throughout the Grand Hyatt ballroom when Clinton appeared nearly two hours late."It seems like they are highlighting all the bad qualities of Cuomo- he tries to detract from the purpose of his campaign event by introducing Hilary Clinton, and he cannot keep up with his schedule. It is in poor taste, since none of the article explains how everything went during the campaign and such. In another article also talking about Clinton's visit to Cuomo's campaign event, it is much less biases and actually gives details about what she talked about and such. 3. Despite that the rally resonated a lot of support for Hillary in the presidential race of 2016, this was also a great publicity event for Cuomo because it shows that one of the major power politicians support him for his reelection. Since Hillary's name brings attention, especially with the momentum that's building up to the 2016, Cuomo can also benefit from that attention. PR, good or bad, is always successful when it comes to bringing upon attention to a candidate.

  4. I think that this rally is going to be a very important part of Governor Andrew Cuomo's race for reelection because it shows that he supports women and he is also geting support from one of the most powerful women in America. This will be a big pro for Governor Andrew Cuomo. I think that this will really shows women that Governor Andrew Cuomo is the right choice for them as well as New York state.

  5. Earlier, it was speculated that Cuomo was going to run for president based on international visits. Now since his rally turned into a Clinton 2016 rally, I don't think he has the intentions of running

  6. I'm surprised that Hilary Clinton joined Cuomo's rally. This is very good publicity for him because she is already a house hold name. This does seem like another hint at his possible presidential election.
