Cuomo receives award from conservative research group

Andrew Cuomo was rewarded with "the outstanding achievement in state tax reform award" by a conservative research award. This is a very big achievement for Cuomo who is looking for re-election in a couple of weeks. This award can help Cuomo gain re election because when people see this, it will only glorify his name. Cuomo's accomplishments include reducing tax by .6 percent ad abolished corporate levy. He has helped New York which was ranked last in having the worst tax climate. New York is back on the rise now and Cuomo may be too in the upcoming weeks.

  1. It's interesting how Cuomo receives support from a conservative research group when he's a Democrat. After all, he is a socially liberal and fiscally conservative so it doesn't matter as much. However, this form of endorsement will hurt Astorino's chances.

  2. I agree — Astorino is definitely at a serious disadvantage when it comes to this election. I'm thinking that Cuomo might win in a landslide at this point.

  3. It seems that Cuomo is helping promote economic growth in New York by slashing corporate tax rates. This shows that not only Astorino is business-friendly, but Cuomo as well. A man of action rather than a man of words, Cuomo shows his real potential, and this will definitely make people look more favorably upon him.

  4. This award is a definite boost in Cuomo's campaign. If the people see that Cuomo can win an award for being able to work with taxes well he will definitely get their vote.
