Ebola scare in city puts spotlight on Andrew Cuomo, casting off Rob Astorino as Election Day looms

This article discusses the how the Ebola scare has affected Governor Andrew Cuomo's campaign as well as Rob Astorino's campaign. It also discusses Rob Astorino's plans on curtailing the Ebola virus. The article discusses how Governor Andrew Cuomo has taken a charge on the Ebola and chose to focus his attention on that by going to five morning shows this Friday, and four of those morning talk shows were on national television. This is a really good focus for Governor Cuomo because it is showing that he is on top of things on the Ebola outbreak and he really cares more for the safety of the people of New York than he cares for the election. I think that this mentality will win him a lot of votes. Rob Astorino criticizes the fact that Cuomo has decided not to ban people coming from the Ebola hot zones in West Africa. Despite trying to get his idea's across, no one is listening to Astorino because people are focused on Govenor Andrew Cuomo.

  1. I think that Cuomo showed how well he can handle crisis with the way the he reacted to the Ebola scare in New York. This is just a plus to a campaign he is already winning.

  2. I feel like Rob Astorino is always trying to criticize Governor Cuomo and I applaud Cuomo for the actions he took with the Ebola virus. He focused his attention on Ebola and I like that it shows he cares for the people of New York. New York needs a Governor who cares about the people instead of a Governor who likes to criticize others.
