White House pushing Gov. Cuomo and Gov. Chris Christie to reverse mandatory Ebola-fighter quarantine order

This article is a perfect example of Cuomo working hard doing his job dealing with a crisis while Astorino is out "campaigning." Since Ebola is the number one concern for people living in New York, the fact that Cuomo is out trying his best to contain the outbreak and make people feel safer is what is going to get him reelected. A situation such as this is the perfect moment for Cuomo to shine and show New Yorkers what he can truly do for them and get himself reelected.

  1. Cuomo is definitely making the right choice to put campaigning aside, but is there really need for "dealing with the crisis?" The disease is only contracted through bodily fluids when a patient shows symptoms. This disease is many times less severe than the flu, which causes more deaths every year.

  3. I think that this is the right way to deal with such a deadly virus because the effects of it have already been demonstrated in Texas and its origin in Africa as well. If we are to protect ourselves, we must have a strict policy on Ebola, though one that allows us to still breathe and focus on our daily activities, which is why Cuomo's actions best fit a majority desire.
